Yessica Marquez paints in acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. Much of her work uses specialty glow-in-the-dark acrylics, so each piece is really two paintings: one in daylight, one after the lights go out.
Her subjects come from nature and Mexican tradition: hummingbirds, sirenas, catrinas and Frida.
